The band were priveleged to be invited to play at the festival this year on Saturday 10th July, just prior to the twelfth. Unfortunately the rain decided to play havoc. Originally an outdoor event it was hurridly moved indoors.

The band's set changed from a range of marches and concert pieces to more one of marches only, since space didn't allow for a drumkit.

It was enjoyable none the less and the band played well even though it wasn't quite what we had planned. Many thanks to the organisers and to the people and fellow bands from the East of the City for their warm welcome on the day.
