It is 2010, and that means that the Band have reached 175 years on the road. This year several events are being organised to mark this important milestone in the History of the Churchill Flute Band.

A concert will be held on Saturday 15th May, in the Waterside Theatre, Londonderry, providing a vast range of music from all sorts of genres. At this event the Band will be joined by the Ulster Special Constabulary Historical Display Team. The Band have had close ties with the USC Association, having been one of two official bands for the Londonderry Command of the 'B Specials'. It is with great pride we continue this link. Tickets can be purchased from the band, priced at £5.00 each (which is exceptional value considering the concert being put on!!

In October a Dinner Dance will be held to continue the celebrations through the year. As like last year it is also intended that a cultural day will be held in November bringing some of the provinces best bands to the Maiden
City.
