Churchill Flute Band

East Bank Protestant Boys Annual

On Wednesday 10th June the band took part in East Bank's parade, back on the calander, after a years absence. It was good to be out on our first 'band' parade of the year. The weather was good (though some complaints of it being a bit chilly were heard!) and a decent crowd had assembled to spectate along the route.

The parade lead by the Hamilton Flute Band, featured all seven of the City's remaining bands, as well as others from further afield. We had an opportunity to play some of our new marches for this year for the first time 'on the road' so the parade proved beneficial to us as well as supporting another local band!

Congratulations to East Bank Protestant Boys on a very successful parade.
