The annual contest was held in the Market Place Theatre, Armagh on Saturday 25th October 2008 for Accordion, Flute and School Concert bands. The test pieces for our Grade 2 section this year was 'Putza'.

After many weeks of hard practice the day came upon us. There was stiff competition in this section this year. The three other competitors being Ballywalter Flute Band, Cahard Flute Band and Ballymena Young Conqueror's Flute Band

2nd Prize: Churchill Flute Band (96 points)
