Last night we travelled to Coleraine to take part in Ballyrashane Flute Band’s parade. This year marks an important milestone in the “White Army’s” history as they celebrate their 100th anniversary. With nearly 20 side drums and over 50 flutes on parade last night it looks like they are well set for the next 100!

We had a small band of just 4 side drums and 11 flutes plus a guest bass drummer from Killaloo Accordion Band. Despite our small numbers we played well and enjoyed the parade through the center of Coleraine.

We would like to congratulate Ballyrashane on a successful parade and on reaching 100 years on the road. We would also like to thank James Pearson from Killaloo for joining us for the night.
