The Band once again entered the flute and drumming contests in Ballygowan on Saturday 14th and 21st of April.

This year we had two entries for the fluting week. The Quartets won and retained their title for the 2nd year. The under 21 Duet came a creditable 4th. Once again the Corps of Drums came 2nd.

Although it was an early start for two weeks in a row the band are proud to be the only band outside of Co.Down to take part in this event and travel two weeks every year the long distance to Ballygowan, which in the end will only improve the standard of the band. This shows the strengths and dedication of our band members.
