Churchill Flute Band

Learners Policy

  1. Learners classes run from September to April yearly - no exceptions.
  2. Classes are held on Tuesday nights from 7.15pm to 8.00pm - learners must arrive on time and attend on a regular basis.
  3. Class is run by an experienced band member and must be given full attention during the lesson.
  4. Home practice is required.
  5. Loan of the instrument, music and tuition are free for the learning period - once promoted into the band a weekly subscription of 50p for Children and £1.00 for adults is required
  6. On completion of the year the conductor will make the final decision if he/she is of a standard for promotion to the band.
  7. The Churchill Flute Band is a marching and concert band - when joining you agree to partake in both aspects.
  8. The Churchill Flute Band reserves the right to retrieve all band equipment at any time.
