As well as being a renowned marching band and take pride in being the oldest marching band in Ireland, we also take part in numerous concerts and contests.

Concerts

The Band takes pride in their musical ability and offer their services for concerts. We take part in concerts all over Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We play a wide variety of music which can be seen in the music section.

Contests

The Band has taken part in contests for nearly 50 years. The band is a member of the Northern Ireland Bands Association and the Flute Band Association (formerly the Flute Band League). The band has had numerous successes in the 70's, 80's and 90's. The band's most recent success was winning the grade 2 section set piece in October 2005. The band recently finished third at the own choice in Lisburn in February 2007.

The band has also recently taken part in the quartets and corp of drums contests held in Ballygowan. In 2006 and 2007 the band won the quartets with the corp of drums coming second.
