Who Are We?

The Churchill Flute Band are the oldest marching flute band in Ireland having recently celebrated it's 170th anniversary. The band was originally a melody flute band but became a part flute band in the early 1900's and still are today.

The band was formed as a marching band and still encompases this tradition, taking part in a number of parades with warious organisations in Londonderry. More recently the band has become known as much for its concert and contest work.
